From October 26 to October 27, 2018, the 2018 School Games of Zhejiang University was held in Zijingang Campus. Despite the cold weather and the wind, our students showed their full vitality, and they won many honors for the college on playground, showing the spirit of CBEIS.
On the morning of October 26, more than 10,000 teachers, students and staffs attended the opening ceremony. After the ceremony, the annual long-distance running started, with the lead of Deputy Party Committee Secretary Yang Yang and Counselor Jiayi Wang, our college team completed a run around the Zijingang Campus.
In the competitions, both undergraduate and graduate students have fought for the honor of the college and won quite good results. Among them, graduate student Xiang Pan won two silver medals in the graduate men’s group of 100 meters and 200 meters.
Undergraduate student Tianyu Zheng won the seventh place in the heptathlon.
For the relay players, they tried their best to pass the baton and showed the spirit of unity.
In addition to the athletes on the field, the volunteers of our college also worked hard and gave the athletes a lot of help.
Students of our college tried their best to win honors for the college in this sports game. And in these days, they promoted the sports spirit of Zhejiang University.
