In order to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, on the evening of June 12nd, My Motherland and Me, the second chorus competition was held grandly in the theater of Zijingang Campus, Zhejiang University. 77 faculties and students from the College of Biomedical Engineering and Instrument Science (CBEIS) participated in the competition and performed My Motherland and Me and Glory and Dream.
‘Seventy years of hardships, seventy years of trials and hardships…,’ faculties and students sang out their most lasting love to their motherland. ‘Seventy years of peace time, seventy years of prosperity and revival,’ Members sang the glory of the new era and dream with passionate intonation. Forward! Move forward! To realize the great dream of renewal!
Members of CBEIS are diligent and unremitting, building their foundation with the achievements of scientific research and innovation, and sang praises with their firmest beliefs.
A minute on the stage takes ten-year practice., party committee of CBEIS attached great importance to the chorus contest. Professors, faculties, students, a total of more than 80 members actively participated in the competition preparation. Guided by teachers from Zhejiang Song and Dance Troupe, teachers and students participated in the rehearsal every Tuesday from April to June. With the constant learning, training and improving, Members from CBEIS presented the two different songs in the full state, expressing their deep love to the motherland.
Based on the international academic frontier, CBEIS serves the national great health strategy and has made outstanding achievements.
