On August 3, 20 undergraduate students from the College of Biomedical Engineering and Instrument Science, Zhejiang University participated in the joint curriculum and summer exchange program of Zhejiang University and National University of Singapore in 2019. This project includes professional courses, scientific research practice, cultural exploration and other activities, and introduces international high-quality professional teaching resources for students, creating an international teaching atmosphere and achieving good results.
In the first week, teachers from Zhejiang University gave lectures to students, including topics on bioinformatics, chemical sensor, magnetic resonance and so on. After class, students were arranged to visit the Affiliated Hospitals of Zhejiang University and the magnetic resonance imaging laboratory in Huajiachi Campus.

On the mornings of the second week and the third week, teachers from the national university of Singapore gave lectures on fluid mechanics to students. In the afternoons, each group had their own time to finish the final assignments of the course.

On August 3, 2019, the group came to Singapore. Over the following few days, they visited the National University of Singapore, the United Medical College of Duke-nus, Medtronic and A*STAR Research Center. In addition, they also had chance to explore the surrounding scenic spots and fully felt the local customs and life.
Looking back at the program, the students of CBEIS, ZJU not only learn knowledge and skiils, but also gained sincere friendship with NUS students, learned about the BME development local conditions and customs of Singapore and the campus life of world-class universities.
