On October 27th, the closing ceremony of the 2019 National Doctoral Academic Forum on Biomedical Engineering was held in Zhouyiqing Building. The closing ceremony was host by Prof. Liu Qingjun, Vice President of the College of Biomedical Engineering and Instrument ScienceCBEIS. Ms. Zhao Xuezhen, Director of the Postdoctoral Office of Zhejiang University, Prof. Zhou Hong, Vice President of CBEIS, Ms. Yang Yang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of CBEIS, Prof. Zhang Shaomin etc. attended the ceremony.

First of all, Prof. Zhou Hong made a closing speech. He said that the forum, though didn’t last long, effectively inspired the scientific wisdom of the participants. Prof. Zhou Hong also expressed his special thanks for the support and participation of the attending teachers as well as the doctoral students, and wished everyone could have a great memory at Zhejiang University.

Then, Director Ms. Zhao Xuezhen made a summary. She pointed out that the forum, with its warm atmosphere and strong academic atmosphere, is a high-level academic gathering and will surely make a great contribution to the development of biomedical engineering in China.

 

       In the end, Deputy Secretary Ms. Yang Yang read out the list of winners and host the award ceremony. 61 wall-newspaper and 63 oral reports were received during the forum, while 6 wall-papers won the Best Wall Newspaper award and 6 oral reports were selected as the best oral reports.
