In order to fight against the epidemic and help faculties and students to maintain good physical and mental health, College of Biomedical Engineering and Instrument Science (CBEIS) carried out a one-month ‘Heart, Action’ online physical training activity. The activity invited a professional fitness instructor as the technical coach. From March 2nd to March 30th, students carried out 15 home fitness exercises lasting about 40 minutes.

This activity was warmly welcomed by faculties and students. In the registration stage, the 20 places were snapped up within a short time. In addition, more than 50 teachers and students from different departments took part in the fitness training. More than half of the students finished the training with an attendance rate of more than 50% while many students even completed all 15 trainings.

After the first few exercises, some students complained that it was difficult for them to finish the whole process. However, with the continuous deepening of exercise, it was not as difficult for students to finish all the exercises, and the effect was getting better and better.
On March 21, instructor of CBEIS, Ms. Sun Youbo led students to have Zheng Duouyan weight loss exercise. The students were enthusiastic, some of whom even asked their familiar friends to attend the live and had exercise together. The atmosphere at the fitness studio was relatively cheerful and the popularity was at an all-time high.
Through the one-month fitness activities, students reported that their physical fitness had been enhanced, at the same time, their daily work, rest and diet had become more regular and healthy. A clearer mind and physically and mentally health would definitely be gained after exercise.
