On the morning of August 28, 2020, Zhang Hong, Dean Professor of CBEIS, Zhejiang University, and 9 members of his delegation paid a special visit to Binjiang District Science and Technology Bureau to have an in-depth exchange and discussion on the matter of accelerating the construction of the Intelligent Medical Technology and Equipment Research Center of Binjiang Research Institute, Zhejiang University.
Centering on the construction requirements of Binjiang Research Institute of Zhejiang University, an important carrier of comprehensive strategic cooperation between Zhejiang University and Hangzhou High-tech Zone, Dean Zhang Hong had an in-depth exchange of views on the site requirements, key research directions and the technical innovation and industrialization tasks to be completed for each innovation laboratory under the research center. Chai Zhidong, Binjiang District Bureau of Science and Technology conveyed Binjiang District for the construction of the Research Institute of earnest expectations, and gave sincere comments and suggestions on the specific tasks.
This in-depth meeting further signified the requirements on sites, operations and management forms, and open platforms construction. Dean Zhang Hong and Deputy Secretary Xiang Pinhui indicated that they will further make contributions to the world-class innovation platform construction and to strengthening the guidance of science and innovation, and to improving the level of high-quality development. They were to build an innovation platform for the integrated development of life and health industry.
