On November 6th, 2020, the first Biomedical Engineering Postdoctoral Innovation Forum of Zhejiang University was grandly held in CBEIS, Yuquan Campus. The conference was held online and offline simultaneously, attracting more than 100 outstanding researchers.
Four outstanding young teachers, including research professor Wang Yi of Zhejiang University, research professor Yin Dazhi of East China Normal University, associate professor of Zhejiang University of Technology Pan Qing, and associate researcher of Zhejiang University Wang Xiandi, were invited to the conference. The meeting was co-chaired by Professor Xu Yingke and Dr. Zhuang Liujing from CBEIS.
Professor Xu Yingke delivered a speech at the beginning of the meeting. On behalf of CBEIS, he warmly welcomed the experts and all participating teachers and students, emphasizing the importance of innovation to the postdoctoral group, and placing ardent hopes on the postdoctoral fellows.
Subsequently, the four experts conducted academic reports on their respective research fields, demonstrating their new progress, achievements and breakthroughs in related fields. They jointly discussed the ways to promote the innovative development of The postdocs in the BME field.
This is the first academic activity undertaken since the establishment of the Postdoctoral Fellowship of CBEIS. It helps expand the academic influence of our school’s biomedical engineering discipline among young researchers with the theme of postdoctoral research, and strengthen the learning atmosphere among postdocs and graduate students. It is of great significance to broaden academic horizons and inspire scientific research thinking.
