Recently, World Economic Forum (Davos Forum) released its Young Scientist of the Year list for 2020. To push the frontiers of science, 25 outstanding young researchers from around the world were awarded as Young Scientists of World Economic Forum.
Dr. Dan Wu of Zhejiang University is one of five Chinese scholars on the list. Dr. Wu’s research focuses on the field of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology and achieved outstanding achievements in MRI data acquisition and image analysis.
The list of young scientists of the World Economic Forum is awarded to outstanding young scientists under the age of 40 who contribute to the advancement of science, help improve human health, promote sustainable development, enhance the level of inclusiveness and promote social equality. This year, the 25 young scientists who have won the commendation cover the fields of future vaccines, wearable biosensors, biomedicine, artificial intelligence, aerospace navigation and so on. They come from 14 countries, of which 5 are from China.
